Gordon E. Finley, PhD
Gordon E. Finley received a B.A. in Sociology and Anthropology from Antioch College and a Ph.D. in Social Relations from Harvard University. Prior to his present position as Professor of Psychology at Florida International University, he taught at the Universities of British Columbia, Toronto, and California at Berkeley. He publishes empirical research, family policy articles, and op-eds. His writings focus on fatherhood; fathers, children, and divorce; family law reform; and the status of boys and men in contemporary society. He has a book under contract with Wiley-Blackwell tentatively titled: Fatherhood and Psychology. His most recent research publication is: Finley, G. E., & Schwartz, S.J. (2010).
